Create roles and manage access permissions

Retail businesses often require flexibility in managing user access, as employees may take on multiple roles with varying responsibilities. Traditional static role-based access models may not be sufficient in such dynamic business scenarios.

With Zakya, you can now create custom roles tailored to your specific business needs. Assign precise access permissions to each role and link them to any user in your organization. This ensures that employees have access only to the features and functions necessary for their roles, improving both efficiency and security.

Print and download transactions directly from POS

You can now both print and download your new and existing transactions across all the POS solutions (Windows, iOS and Android). During business hours, these options can help you produce/reproduce copies of the transactions using any POS solution in addition to the Zakya web application. Access to these options can be configured based on roles.

Build loyalty with Loyalty program  Beta

Loyalty programs can help businesses drive repeat sales, which in turn increases sales revenue and retains and builds a long-term relationship with the customers. With Zakya, you can now easily create and manage loyalty programs, link them to customers, and award points for eligible transactions. Customers can redeem these points on future purchases, encouraging continued engagement with your business.

Process returns for refunds, exchanges, or offer store credit — Beta

Returns and exchanges can help businesses build trust, boost sales, improve loyalty, and enhance customer lifetime value. They can also help businesses get valuable feedback about the product's quality, sizing, and customer preferences.

In Zakya, we now support returns and exchanges, allowing your customers to return products for an exchange, a refund, or store credit (Credit Note), helping you build trust and loyalty in your business.

We currently support this functionality in Windows and Android POS devices, and support for iOS will be provided in the upcoming releases.

Zakya at Zoholics India 

We presented Zakya at Zoholics India 2025, an annual user conference where customers and partners interact with products, network, and learn how Zoho applications can help their business. 

At our booth, visitors experienced live demos of Zakya in action, getting a hands-on feel for how our solutions simplify retail operations. In addition to this, we powered the Zoho merchandise buying experience and made it easier for visitors to purchase handcrafted products at the Thogai stall. 

Our team also hosted two insightful sessions on our retail vertical solutions and how you can unlock retail success with Zakya.
